We also accept Queensland Government Play On Sport Vouchers. Vouchers entitles the player $200 towards their registration fee and is available now. There is a limit of 1 voucher per child per financial year. At the time of registration please enter in the voucher number.  The amount will be deducted from the total.

Team formation

During the team formation, we take into account factors such as players who have previous experience playing together or express a desire to be on the same team. Additionally, we consider existing teams that wish to remain intact. It is important to note, however, that we strive to strike a balance between individual preferences, Football Queensland age requirements, and the overarching needs of the club and each team. Please contact the registrar to request any preferences.

Formal training will commence once teams are formed and coaches have been allocated. It will be up to coaches to determine training times for their squad. Please keep in mind that the season starts early this year, so training will also start early.

Coaches and Managers

If you’re a parent, grandparent, carer, sibling, or just love football, we want you to coach a team. Get in touch with the registrar and let’s make football awesome together!   Coaches and managers at every level of the game must be registered and hold a valid volunteer blue card for working with children, these are free to apply for via the Queensland government.

Season start and duration

Competitions will begin on the weekend of 27–28 February and continue through to late August or early September, depending on age group and finals. The full competition calendar can be found on the Football Queensland website.

2027 and beyond

This will be our last year at the Meridan Playing fields before we move to our new home at Honey Farm. This is a new precinct being built by the Sunshine Coast Council that will be the premier football fields and facilities on the Sunshine Coast.

Caloundra FC would like to share an important update on the future football facilities plan for the club and its community.
Following discussions and collaboration between Football Queensland, Sunshine Coast Council and the Queensland Government, the Caloundra FC committee has agreed in principle to relocate to the Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct in Caloundra. While
detailed deliverables and final timeframes are still being confirmed, current planning indicates that this transition is anticipated at this stage to be in 2027, meaning we will remain at Meridan Fields for the full 2026 season.

The Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct is a new 75-hectare site, currently under construction, designed to support regional football and cricket participation and a range of sport and recreational activities. The precinct is planned to include but not limited to, eight full-size football fields and new clubhouse pavilions.

This master-planned precinct represents a major opportunity for Caloundra FC, providing improved facilities, increased capacity and a strong platform to support our sustainability and growth into the future. Importantly, the precinct remains within the Caloundra catchment, ensuring the club retains its long-standing ties to the community and continues to serve our members, families, and supporters.

The club would like to formally acknowledge the long-standing and critical support provided by the Sunshine Coast Council in driving the growth and future of football. This includes infrastructure maintenance and development, financial and governance support and ongoing operational assistance that have helped ensure the club’s growth and sustainability over time.

Caloundra FC will continue to work closely with Football Queensland, the Sunshine Coast Council and Queensland Government and will share information with members and the community as key milestones are reached.
